Advocating for our health can be difficult, especially when it comes to advocating for our mental health. I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed with information and afraid to ask questions at various appointments where we rely on the expertise of professionals, and sometimes I see the same confused looks on my patients’ faces, which is why I always ask if they have questions.
